The two-day event, powered by Porsche, proved a hit with hungry members who enjoyed one-off dinners, talks and tastings, alongside dishes from a host of food trucks

This weekend, we transformed Soho Farmhouse into a paradise for food lovers, as Soho Food Festival, powered by Porsche, returned for another year. Despite the occasional rain shower, members and guests gathered at our countryside outpost to enjoy dinners and rounds of street food from some of the industry’s buzziest names. That was all squeezed in between masterclasses and tastings, which took place in The Nord.
The grounds outside the Hay Barn and Lazy Lawn were filled with pop-up shacks and trucks from Chet Sharma’s BiBi, Emeka Frederick’s Chuku’s, Fin and Lorcan Spiteri’s Caravel, Hannah Drye’s Dough Hands, Hector Henderson’s Rochelle Canteen, James Knappett and Sandia Chang’s Kitchen Table, Jo Kurdi’s Lucia’s, Lap-fai Lee’s Fire + Rice, Nick Deverell-Smith’s Caffe Morel and The Churchill Arms, Paxford, Richard Corrigan at Bentley’s Oyster Bar & Grill, and Taiji Maruyama’s Taka Marylebone.
Also on the Hay Barn Lawn, pastry chef Darcie Maher hosted a special Dreamers pop-up, powered by Porsche. Since opening in July 2023, Maher’s Lannan Bakery has become a standout in Edinburgh’s food scene, earning acclaim from both local and international fans. A true visionary, she served her signature patisseries throughout the day – complimentary, thanks to Porsche.
Disney+ was also on hand with themed ice creams; and there was a Guinness pop-up next to Wright Brothers oysters, so members could enjoy both together. House Kitchen also offered a special menu featuring Woodford Reserve bourbon whisky-infused barbecue food and cocktail pairings. To keep members well-watered across the weekend, we hosted bars from the likes of Aperol, Ridgeview, St-Germain, Mirabeau Rosé, Lucky Saint, Double Dutch, and Seedlip.
The weekend wasn’t only about the food trucks, though. Members also attended some special one-off lunches and dinners prepared and hosted by a roster of impressive chefs in the Glasshouse. Author of bestselling cookbook Persiana, Sabrina Ghayour, hosted a lunch on Saturday. Her feast of Middle Eastern flavours was accompanied by the Porsche Dreamers Cocktail, Simply Kalmado. Elsewhere around the festival, members gathered at an open fire to toast their own handmade s’mores as they discovered the Porsche Cayenne adventure display.
In the evening, chef Claude Bosi prepared a menu that blended classical French technique with his signature creative flair – plus a celebration of local and seasonal produce. On Sunday, lunch was created by chef Abby Lee, who runs Mambow, a modern restaurant in east London celebrating the complexity of Malaysian food.
On Saturday, British travel brand Antler hosted an around-the-world wine and canape tasting, led by wine expert and The Guardian’s wine critic Hannah Crosbie. Members tried wines from across the globe, each paired with a selection of canapes crafted by chef Ivan Tisdall-Downes. Elsewhere, there was an exclusive tasting with Ridgeview, with winemakers Simon and Mardi Roberts guiding attendees through the very best in English sparkling wine. And as the sun shone, members gathered on the Lazy Lawn for Maison Soirée with St-Germain, a golden hour aperitivo. On Sunday afternoon, The Dalmore led a whisky masterclass, featuring several expressions from their Highland distillery, paired with premium chocolates.
And as always, the Farmers’ Market in the Barwell Barn offered members the opportunity to stock up on the best in locally produced condiments, cured meats, honey, organic drinks, cheese, sweet treats, and kitchenware from local producers. This included bespoke knives from the team at Allday Goods, carefully crafted especially for the event from plastic waste collected at Soho House Festival in Gunnersbury Park earlier this summer.
American members, something exciting is coming, with Soho Food Festival landing in Los Angeles and Mexico City in the coming months. Keep an eye out for details.
